Cookie Policy

How ConfigUX uses cookies, browser storage and tags for website functions, analytics and campaign measurement.

Last updated: 27 July 2026
On this pageWhat cookies areCategoriesCurrent technologiesForms and attributionManage choices

1. What are cookies?

Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of data used to make a website work, remember choices, protect forms or measure usage. Necessary technologies can operate without optional consent. Functional, Analytics and Marketing technologies remain off until you allow the relevant category.

2. Categories

  • Necessary: required for security, consent records, forms, cart, account and other core website functions. These cannot be switched off through the banner.
  • Functional: remember optional preferences or enable a feature you choose to use.
  • Analytics: help us understand website use and successful enquiries so we can improve ConfigUX. These require Analytics consent.
  • Marketing: help us measure advertising on LinkedIn, Meta and Google and may support remarketing. These require Marketing consent.

3. Current website technologies

TechnologyPurposeCategoryTypical duration
ConfigUX consent storageStores your categories, consent version and proof of the consent state.NecessaryUp to 180 days
WordPress and ConfigUX security/session storageSupports administration, security, anti-spam protection and the requests you choose to submit.NecessaryRequest, session or login period

ConfigUX assistant stateKeeps the optional chat experience available when you use it.FunctionalSession or local preference period
ConfigUX InsightsMeasures page use and server-confirmed enquiries. Advertising click IDs are excluded unless Marketing consent is granted.AnalyticsNormally up to 90 days
Google Tag ManagerLoads approved Analytics or Marketing tags only after the matching consent category is granted.Analytics or MarketingGTM itself does not normally set a cookie
Google Analytics 4Measures website use and consented conversion performance.AnalyticsSession to up to 2 years, depending on the entry
Microsoft ClarityHelps diagnose website usability and interaction patterns when enabled.AnalyticsSession to up to 1 year, depending on the entry
LinkedIn Insight TagMeasures LinkedIn campaign visits and selected high-intent conversions and supports LinkedIn audience measurement.MarketingSession to up to 1 year, depending on the entry
Meta PixelMeasures Meta campaign visits and conversions and may support remarketing.MarketingCommonly up to 90 days for campaign identifiers
Google advertising tagsMeasure Google Ads conversions and may support remarketing when an approved campaign setup is enabled.MarketingCommonly up to 90 days, depending on the entry

Provider cookie names and durations can change. We review the live scanner, tag configuration and this table together before enabling a new optional provider.

4. Forms and campaign attribution

A form or demo booking still works if you reject optional technologies. When you send a request, ConfigUX can store the page address, UTM campaign parameters and your consent state with that request so we can understand where the enquiry came from. LinkedIn, Google and Meta advertising click IDs are stored only when Marketing consent is granted. Without Marketing consent, those click IDs are removed from the stored source address.

A successful form or booking creates a short-lived, random conversion receipt after the server confirms that the request was saved. It contains only technical fields such as event name, event ID, lead type and internal priority points. It does not contain the name, email address, telephone number, message or other form answers you submit.

5. Manage your choices

You can accept, reject or customise optional technologies in the banner. You can reopen the settings at any time using the button below.

You can also delete stored data in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent cart, login or form functions from working correctly.
